Frequently Asked Questions

    • Our tours start in Forsand at the Lysefjorden Marina (click here for Google Maps).

      Located directly at the mouth of the Lysefjord, we start our unique experiences from here.

    • By car:

      • approx. 45 minutes from Stavanger center

    • By bus:

      • approx. 1h 20min from Stavanger center

      • You should plan the outward and return journey times well in advance

      • Route information and bookings at Kolumbus.no (Destination: Forsand, Lysefjorden Marina)

    • By boat:

      • We offer a pickup from Stavanger or Jørpeland for private tours. This can easily be booked at the time of booking.

    • Rain and cold are no problem for us. The impressive fjord shows its beauty in any weather!

      We may only have to cancel tours at short notice if the wind is too strong in order to ensure the safety of our guests.

    • If we have to cancel a tour, we offer the following options:

      • we rebook the tour for the next possible date, or

      • we will refund 100% of the price paid

    • In principle, it is possible to book for just one person. However, please note that we only operate tours for a minimum of two people. If we do not have any other guests on the tour in question, we offer the following options:

      • we will rebook you on an existing tour by arrangement

      • you pay for a second ticket

      • if neither is an option, you will receive a 100% refund of the price paid

    • Yes, you can book a private tour. There will definitely be no other guests on the boat.

    • To book a private tour, simply click on "Book now". Here you then have the option of selecting a private tour.

    • Yes, children are very welcome!

    • Our boats are also very suitable for small children.

    • We would be pleased to receive a short notification (contact form / email) if children under the age of 2 are included.

    • Yes, you can take your dog with you under the following conditions:

      We need to know about the dog before the tour so that we can ask other guests if it is ok for them. Please use the contact form or email.
