About us
Jim Eikevåg
Jim is a true Norwegian. Born and raised in the Ryfylke region, he knows the country and its people inside out.
He studied economics and worked for many years as a youth leader in a christian free church. Together with his wife, he set up the company "Ryfylke Relax", where they rent out several vacation homes.
Jim is our visionary. He has incredible ideas on how we can improve our offer. What started with simple boat tours is now developing into exclusive "outdoor activities" thanks to him!
Jonas Stieb
Jonas was born and raised in Germany. He has lived in beautiful Norway with his family since 2021.
His main job is as a part-time pilot. This gives Jonas time to build up "Ryfylke Adventures" together with Jim.
Jonas is our "technician". To his family's chagrin (to the company's benefit), he can forget everything around him when it comes to learning new systems (website, booking software etc.). He "has to" turn Jim's ideas into reality. Like Jim, he feels most at home with a boat and guests on the fjord.
Ryfylke Adventures
Ryfylke Adventures? We launched them at the beginning of 2024 - fresh from the fjord, so to speak. Our boats? Fast, safe and super comfortable.
Of course, driving is fun - but what is really important to us: no stress, no hectic pace, no "faster, higher, further" mentality. We want to enjoy Norwegian nature - with time, leisure and, of course, local delicacies.
Whether summer or winter, our boats are perfect all year round - and for the whole family!
Ryfylke Adventures AS is a registered company and complies with all legal requirements. We have all the necessary licenses and permits to operate our tours safely and responsibly.
