Our Lysefjord Exploration is not an excursion - it's an experience in a class of its own! For three days, our cozy Preikestolen Villa with a view of the Norwegian nature will be your home.

Explore the fjord on an exclusive boat tour, hike to the famous Preikestolen if you wish - or discover hidden places like Flørli at your own pace. Nature, adventure and relaxation - all in one unique package!

Lysefjord Exploration

You book with a 10% deposit - you pay the remaining amount 7 days before the tour.

Day 1

Arrival

  • Our modern Preikestolen Villa, perfectly located between Stavanger and Preikestolen, welcomes you with its stunning views.

  • From 15:00 you can make yourself comfortable

Day 2

You have the choice

  1. Discover Flørli (included): We take you by boat to the car-free village of Flørli.

  2. Preikestolen Hike (add-on): Guided hike up the Preikestolen.

  3. Free day - plan your own adventure: Tell us what you're up to - we'll be happy to help you with tips.

Day 3

Fjord Safari

  • Departure: 14:30 from Forsand

  • Experience the entire fjord with all its hidden treasures

  • Possibility for a "cold plunge" in the 460m deep fjord

  • Club sandwiches make our break in Lysebotn perfect

  • Duration: approx. 4 hours

Day 4

Departure

  • One last relaxed morning! You can enjoy the view in peace and quiet until 12:00.

Preikestolen Villa

Our modern Preikestolen Villa really does have everything you need to experience a unique and unforgettable adventure in the breathtaking nature of Norway. The incredible panoramic view of the majestic fjord, a cozy cinema room for relaxing evenings, an inviting hot tub for unwinding, 5 comfortable bedrooms, a private garden for spending quality time outdoors and much more welcome you warmly.

Day 2

Option 1: Flørli

We set off at 08:00: we take you by boat to the remote, car-free village of Flørli, in the middle of the Lysefjord. The village is known for its legendary 4,444-step staircase - the longest wooden staircase in the world!

But Flørli has even more to offer: exciting hydropower history, an exhibition in the old power station hall and - for those who have earned their way up - the charming Power Café, which is open in summer.

We'll pick you up again at 16:00. Ready for a hot shower - and lots of new memories.

Option 2: Preikestolen Hike

Be inspired by the breathtaking landscape on the way to Preikestolen. Enjoy the wild beauty on our hike. From one photogenic spot to the next, we reach the famous rock formation. If you wish, our guide will take you to Preikestolen on lesser-known paths, but beware, this is where the tour gets a little more challenging!

You will be picked up directly from the Preikestolen Villa at 09:00. We will provide you with a delicious packed lunch to complement the view after the ascent!

  • We recommend that everyone brings the following clothing and equipment:

    • Hiking boots

    • Jacket

    • Hiking pants

    • Fleece pullover

    • Gloves

    • Food/snacks and drinks, about 1 liter should be enough

    • Backpack for food/drinks etc.

    • The tour guide will pick you up at Preikestolen Villa at the selected time.

    • We prepare our equipment, go to the toilet one last time and fill our bottles with clean tap water if necessary.

    • We hike for approx. 2-3 hours including short breaks.

    • We have time to explore the Preikestolen, relax and enjoy the view!

    • We hike back for approx. 2 hours including short breaks.

    • The tour guide will take you back to Preikestolen Villa.

    • Your fitness level should generally be good.

    • Some experience is recommended, but not essential.

    • Participants should be at least 6 years old.

Day 3

Fjord Safari

We invite you on an unforgettable boat tour. Preikestolen - one of Norway's most popular tourist attractions - is just one of many sights. Experience the incredible diversity of Norwegian nature with us. Summer, winter, rain, fog, sunshine; the fjords around the Preikestolen show their unique beauty at any time!

We will show you the entire length of the Lysefjord (42 km). Discover Flørli, Kjeragbolten, the wildlife, seals and many waterfalls. For the very brave, there is the opportunity to take a "cold plunge" in the 460m deep fjord. We stop off in Lysebotn to enjoy the club sandwiches we have brought with us.

  • We offer a refund of 100% of the price paid if the guest cancels the "Lysefjord Exploration" up to 2 weeks before the start. If the guest cancels within 2 weeks before the start, we will refund 50% of the price paid.

    Please note that the Fjord Safari and the Preikestolen Hike may be canceled at short notice due to adverse weather conditions or staff shortages. In this case we will try to find an alternative date. If this is not possible, we will refund 100% of the service not provided.
