Experience the legendary Flørli Stairs!
This experience begins with our 2-hour Private Premium Tour, after which we continue on to Flørli. Flørli is a small village with no roads, nestled in the heart of the spectacular Lysefjord—accessible only on foot or by boat. The village is best known for its legendary 4,444 steps leading straight up the mountain—the longest wooden staircase in the world!
You have the opportunity to experience this spectacular hiking route for yourself. The tour takes about 3-4 hours and rewards you with a breathtaking view over the Lysefjord!
Once you're back down, we'll be waiting for you—depending on availability—with delicious club sandwiches and fine pastries from our favorite bakery, or with freshly prepared dishes straight from the cozy Flørli Café.
We recommend a tour to Flørli from April to October. Outside of these months, the hiking trail may not be accessible.
Add-ons
You can enhance your Flørli tour with the following add-ons:
Salbu Sauna
The Sauna Salbu is a cozy sauna cabin with an electric stove and a stunning view of the fjord and mountains. With warm outdoor showers and the fjord right outside the door, it’s the perfect place to unwind and relax after a long day in the mountains—accommodating up to 6 people.
Bade Tralala
Enjoy a warm bath with a stunning view of the Lysefjord. At Bad Tralala, all you have to do is turn on the water, unwind, and enjoy life. Right next to it, a bathing ladder invites you to take a refreshing dip in the fjord—for up to two people.
Historical Village Tour
Discover Flørli’s unique history on a guided tour of the village. We’ll tell you about the days when Flørli was a bustling power plant village and draw parallels to Flørli today.
We tailor the route to the group: those who are good walkers can explore the village’s steep paths. Alternatively, we’ll take you on an entertaining tour of the historic buildings right by the fjord.
The tour is suitable for both adults and children, but its content is primarily geared toward adults.
